What are beliefs? They are passed down through tradition, culture, religion, education, family, reading, etc. A belief is generally something that we have been told, heard, read or believe is part of our heritage. Beliefs are also created through our experiences. It is important to understand that beliefs are not static.
They are dynamic and they keep changing as each day unfolds. When we hang on to beliefs that are no longer valid for us, we damage our lives and create stagnancy. What one believed in 5 years ago may longer be relevant now. It is essential to examine our beliefs and shift our understanding and perception to be current to how the world is evolving daily. We cannot operate on old beliefs that are decadent and detrimental to our personal development and growth in the 21st Century.
