The beauty we see around us comprises all the individual imperfections that create this diversity we call life.
No 2 people, flowers, trees, babies, rivers, stars, siblings, twins, bodies, teeth, and so on are the same.
We have been masked by all the billboards, advertising, and marketing to become like others rather than accept ourselves for who we are. In the 21st century, Social Media, comparison, and competition have reached heights of dislocation of our beings limb by limb, sense by sense, and organ by organ…which affirms that soon we will all be like the Stepford wives…clones of each other or AI’d!
This is how we get conquered by those who wish to enslave us again and again! Telling us we are no good as we are…we must have straighter hair, a certain body type, so much money, wear abc, live a certain way, and most of all…even after all that we will not amount to much!
What’s the answer? For me – its ‘screw that’ as I keep carving my own path wearing peacock colors in my hair and a dangling single feather earring regardless that at 63 I ought to comply!!! What’s yours?
