Wait before you speak about weight! Just like perfection which does not exist neither does this notion of the right weight. There are far too many factors from location, body type, ancestry, ethnic food, genes, height, and race definition to name BUT a few aspects.
I went for lunch with a friend who is a very body/diet/exercise conscious person. He mentioned that some friends said he had put on ‘weight’ and my response was ‘seriously‘?
I have had this ‘weight’ discussion for decades with my inner translator and outer one too. Yes I fully agree that being overweight and unhealthy is NOT healthy. However this yearning for the ‘perfectly etched’ body is a bit over the top! Look at our beautiful African women endowed with curves and more curves! When did they have to look like a different race or country folk?
So before you go shooting off about weight lets take into consideration that there is no measurement of a perfect body no matter what! We are dictated to by all the billboards, models, magazines, SM, advertising and marketing! Give me a break as each being is truly beautifully designed and yes we do have to take care of our health…lets keep it steady!
Lets really not look at a person based on their weight in body and instead look at their weight in value as person, human being, heart, qualities and characteristics and most of all the deep value systems which ought to be the cornerstone of life!
Lets get real people!
