Dear Fellow Life Traveller,
The pursuit of happiness – really? Pursuing happiness to prove, show, feel worthy etc multiplies the unhappiness and pain. It is essential to understand why we need to NOT pursue happiness. Will it not happen naturally inside? Based on researched evidence an emotion lasts 30-90 seconds therefore even happiness or sadness all have a short span. We keep feeding these emotions with memories/stories to lengthen the natural state of each emotion…this keeps us imprisoned in unnatural pursuits that are ohhhh so short-lived!
What ought we to pursue instead? The world is changing exponentially…AI, flying cars, bots performing medical operations etc and and and…
All the external competition and scrambling at some point will end (when we die) although we do have a choice to change this mindless, crazy search for stuff outside!
The better option would be to find that ‘Peace’ inside so that no matter what keeps happening outside, one keeps their center!
Please know that you are able to overcome the past. Seek therapy, work, and resolve your issues to improve the quality of your life. It’s one life! Peace!
