Beyond emotions? Seriously? Is that possible? Yes, it is! How does one do that? 

Did you know that emotions last 30-90 seconds? That all emotions are valid as they are a ‘gauge’ to how we are feeling. So why do we keep feeling the same emotions for weeks, months, years? Memories keep us attached to those emotions that we keep thinking over and over again until we feel completely helpless.  As humans, we have a tendency to hang on to debilitating emotions more than the ones that put us in a better frame of mind. This is the part of of us that needs to change so that we manage life in a better way. 

It takes time to understand that emotions are reactions to experiences and the emotions we do not like and make us feel not so good are mostly triggered due to past unresolved issues. Therefore ‘Happy’ is an illusive! 

One excellent way to understanding is to observe each emotion arises without engaging with all the stories and see the bubble ‘pop’. Mostly we are triggered by our past or the fears of the future. This interferes with us being present! 

Challenge yourself and observe – then ask yourself…Is what I am feeling true? Is it real? Am I concocting stories from the past into the present? What am I really feeling and why? By this time the emotion will have passed and you can bring yourself to the present and not react. This will change your narrative….
