I just wanted to write and thank you for the team coaching you facilitated for the Tribe team last week. I have to say that between all such coachingsessions I have participated in, between here and New York, this was one of the most memorable. I feel we achieved all our goals – and more.
The Leadership team has returned to work with a wonderful sense of alignment and unity, as well as a proper understanding of ownership and accountability. Even though it’s still early days, there is a noticeable shift in our culture when it comes to deadlines and communication. As we have often discussed, our communication – both verbal and written – is critical to our success. I can see our communication being more authentic and honest. The piece we did on our Core Values, including Unity, Integrity, Accountability and Empowerment I know was eye opening to some of the team. We have already met with the Head of Department team, shared the relevant take-aways from our session, and I feel their excitement building for their own program with you in January.
I continue to admire your style Tazim – and the way you drive us all towards excellence. I appreciate your skill in pushing our buttons so we shift towards becoming result focused leaders – conducting ourselves with integrity and passion! Personally I want to talk more with you about Authentic Leadership, and how we can each lead this hotel forward in such a way, as well as leading our lives in such a way. We cannot under-estimate how our leadership is impacted when we are not genuine and real – and I appreciate you stressing
this point.
